Pirates!!

I was looking up concept artists and found out about the  talented Marc Davis. I loved all his concept designs for a few of the Disney films and rides so this is inspired by his sketches.

Tiki Idea

This was concept art for a previous idea for an animation. Im  really interested in totem poles and hawaiian gods etc.  But i decided to scrap this idea. Maybe i might come back to it one day :)

More Life Drawing..

Here is some life drawing from last week :) I think it was a successful day. These were two of my favorite drawings. Hopefully next week i would like to try out a new medium. I am also going to upload more bits and pieces that i have been doing recently later on. Just now i have been concentrating on our fourth year film Inked. Check our Contamination Animation for updates!

Life Drawing

I think i captured her expression very well.

Once again i managed to make him look like a feotus.

Some More Art Work :)

An eye inspired by Pinocchio :)

Some observational drawing, here is Lynne and Bambi

and SHUZANNE!!!

Cross your Fingers

Observational drawing

My lovely granny fell asleep so I thought it would be a great opportunity to do some observational! Bless her!

Squirt!

I haven't watched Finding Nemo in ages so today was the day! I forgot how cute Squirt was so i did this little painting.

Little sketches and pen drawings

This is a concept drawing of Kirk for a second year animation.
Basically Kirk is plotting how to get into space.

This is a wee drawing of my flatmate Kat.

Just another random doodle.

This was inspired by 101 Dalmatians and Lady and the Tramp. I'm really
into traditional, hand drawn environments similar to that of the early
Disney films.

Pastels and Paintings

This is life drawing I did last year.
I remember my tutor saying it reminded her
of a foetus. I don't know if I should take that
as a compliment or not..

This was my first charcoal drawing of
something that was non human. It's a
random set up of instruments and objects.

This was my emo phase. But I'm really proud of how
it turned out.
My only media was pencil for this piece.

Another charcoal drawing I'm quite proud
of the tone and may I add, his bum especially.
