New Rough Animation Animatic

This is my new rough animation animatic, still needs work but this is just the keys and the breakdowns so far.

Walk cycle test

This is a rough walk cycle for my character, I wanted her to have a very light and bouncy walk and think it turned out pretty well...Its all slowly coming together :)

First Animated Scene

This is the first animated scene of my film, just the keys and breakdowns though, as I will inbetween during the clean up stage. So good to finally see him come to life!

Final Film Animatic

 

So far I have had 2 pitches and 2 production meetings for my final film, and all deadlines have been met for completing layouts. So this is a rough draft of my second animatic, there are a few timing issues but I am really happy with my progress so far. Just started rough animation today so hopefully it all goes ok :) The title hasn't been finalized yet but this title will do for now I guess.

Its finally time for me to start my final film :) so far I have been storyboarding and making the animatic. This week is our second pitch, so I created these backgrounds to give everyone an idea on the look of the film.

Laboratory

I feel that I have been abandoning my blog lately, but it is just due to the amount of assignments that I have had to do since starting at the school. I blame it on my lack of sleep and the thousands of assignments that I have been given. However, I have survived my first term and half way through my second one. I am still thoroughly enjoying it here but beginning to get very homesick at the moment :(

Vancouver Film School

Hello! Sorry for the long delay in posts, but I have a good excuse as I have started school again. I got accepted to Vancouver Film School and finally my adventure began at the beginning of January. I am slowly finding my feet in the beautiful city of Vancouver, but the film school is fantastic I have learnt so much in the past few weeks. I admit its pretty intense with the long hours and assignments and homework due almost everyday. However i am prepared for the challenge! A lot of my work is handed in for marking so as soon get it back I shall post it. These pieces are from my composition and perspective classes :)
